I am Garima Agrawal
A person who was laid off from her corporate job in May 2020 and who went on to create her own Virtual Assistant empire 🎊 in less than a year!
Yes, less than a year!!
My first income from my first client was Rs 6000, way back in 2020.
Till then I didn't know what a VA does. All I knew was that I wanted to earn money (I was asked to quit my job) and I was confident in my ability to figure out the work given to me.
This would seem a very very tiny amount to you, but trust me, this is the happiest 😄I have been when I earned the first 6000 (it was like I was earning in lakhs).
I was satisfied, happy, joyful, motivated, and pumped up because I earned this out of my own capability.
Also because initially I doubted myself and felt it was impossible to be my own boss and that I was made to only work at a job under a standard organization.
I started taking up whatever work the client would give me and with time my confidence started building up, yes.. I can do it ✌🏻Then I picked up a 2nd, 3rd, 4th client ... these were all Indian clients.
I wanted to work with an international client but again I self-doubted myself and believed it was out of my reach. One day I closed a deal with a European client and literally I made my dream come true. I was working with an international client now.
In 1.5 years I built a VA empire with retainer clients and simultaneously also started helping aspiring beginner VAs to begin their VA freelance careers.
I have literally worked hard from the A..B..C... from learning how to open an account in Canva to figuring out how to write contracts and proposals, to getting in discovery calls and closing deals, to finding systems for myself, to learning to make content on Instagram, to marketing & promoting myself, to learning to communicate to clients. I have done it all by myself.
I am extremely proud of what I have done.. though the self-critic still isn't happy with me. Today I am in a position to be able to coach aspiring VAs to start their journey by giving them the correct pathway and directions.
My goal is to help the aspiring men & women out there who dream of having their own business & becoming financially independent to live that dream in the present.
